Haiku and Tanka Collections

This page contains a compilation of haiku and tanka that I’ve made, some of which were made when I was still roleplaying Yanagi Renji, a Prince of Tennis character. Others came from fans in the fan page that I handled before. I’ve modified some of them because I feel uncomfortable towards the previous words I’ve used. Feel free to use them, but please credit properly. Thank you.

The great red phoenix
Drifted down by its downfall
Rises up again

Serenity of nature

I’m a happy clown
Do you think I really am?
Please remove my mask

The ‘me’ of the past
Strives toward the near future
I’m human, I change

The water lily
Floats radiantly on water
Chokes all the fishes

Unexpected Rain
The umbrella I’m bringing
You blew it away

Under the spring sky
Your pink petals dance around
Such beauty, gives glee

Walking towards it
I can see his sun setting
Farewell, my dear friend

Looking up the sky
I see the Orion’s belt
Three stars embedded
Majestically shining
So close, yet so far apart

Bottle of feelings
Without thinking, I break it
Regrets, all shattered

With your single smile
I cannot help but just melt
Sunshine on my heart

Time is running out
Everything comes to an end
What will you do now?

The birds are singing
How beautiful the sounds are
Will you sing for me?

The world in your eyes
I wonder how you see it
The works of your hands
Never fail to leave a smile
Spicing up reality

It’s raining again
I wonder when will it stop
Do I even want?
